Assetto Corsa Has Gone Gold For Console Edition

505 Games and Kunos Simulazoni’s racing sim Assetto Corsa has finally “gone gold” for the PlayStation and Xbox One edition. After several delays the latest racing sim will be available from the 25th of August here in Australia.
The term “gone gold” means that the final master version of the game is complete and production on the disks and packaging has commenced.
At this stage the final car and track list for the console edition is still to be confirmed, but it has been suggested that some of the DLC packs previously released for the PC version may feature in the games initial release. The Prestige Pack featuring 9 cars is available with pre-order for the console edition.
According to Marco Massarutto, the co-founder and executive manager of Kunos Simulazioni, the physics model of the console version will be identical to the PC version, however the rendering and physics engines had to be rebuilt. The PlayStation 4 will be 1080p, 60FPS, while the Xbox One will slightly lower at 900p.
We will keep you posted as more details on this upcoming title are announced.
