Anthem | One of the Most Glorious Looking Games of 2019

February 22nd marks the launch of the highly anticipated video game called Anthem. For those who didn't know, it's a brainchild of Mass Effect and Dragon Age developers BioWare. The company has spent the last few years creating the project, hoping that it will become the next great hit. And from what players have been seeing so far, it might very well be the case...

At first glance, Anthem looks spectacular. Putting all the gameplay mechanics, game features, and other things aside, it's hard not to be stunned by the way the game is presenting itself. Huge open-world full of breathtaking sights, colossal landmarks, unique character design - every detail of Anthem captures the player's imagination.

The developers also know that the world they’ve created can be considered as a work of art. That's the reason BioWare partnered up with Dark Horse Books. They have plans to start selling the game’s art book titled The Art of Anthem, you can expect it a few days after the game's initial launch. The developer filled the pages with behind-the-scenes looks, the original concept art and exclusive commentary from the developers.

However, the game’s art is far from the only thing worth looking at. While some players might feel like Anthem looks a bit like Bungie's Destiny, this is far from the truth. The game combines third-person shooter genre with aspects of an action RPG and beautifully clusters it all up in a huge open-world setting. Anthem is particularly focused on providing players with multiplayer hunts and raiding experience, thus players will partake in numerous missions to gain various rewards, and these will allow continuing their progress.

Anthem doesn't have game classes, at least as they are considered in the traditional sense. Instead, players will be able to choose their preferred exosuit (Javelin). Each type of armour is armed with different abilities and skills. Currently, there are four main exosuit types representing different gameplay styles – Interceptor, Ranger, Colossus, and Storm. These Javelins can be enhanced and upgraded with the loot earned in the Anthem World, so players will be able to make countless personal customization choices.

The game will launch on February 22nd. Anthem will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you're planning to play the game, head over to Eneba games store to pre-order your copy of the game.
