Star Wars Battlefront - New PSVR Mission and DLC Expansion

Rogue One – A Star Wars Story will be hitting theatres this December, but it will also be coming to the PlayStation VR as well as consoles soon. At E3 earlier this year we had a glimpse of the upcoming Battlefront VR mission, and since then any news in relation to the Battlefront expansion has been very scarce to the point of none at all. Well it has now been revealed that the VR mission has a title - Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission.

Set for release just before Christmas, the new expansion will see you piloting an X-Wing as you take on the Empire as part of a new VR experience and will be available to all owners of the game for free.

Next month will see the fourth and final expansion to Battlefront - Rogue One: Scarif becoming available. The DLC will feature Jyn Erso and Director Orson, most probably joining the list of heroes and villains, and will take place on the jungle planet Scarif.

Star Wars Battlefront will also be re-released with a new Ultimate Edition, which will include the original game plus a DLC season pass giving access to all of the previously released expansions. EA has also announced that a 4X Score event will be taking place on November 18 through to 20 and will give all players free access to the Outer Rim, Bespin and Death Star DLC expansions.
