Why You Shouldn't Use Skins or Stickers on Your Switch

I know what you're thinking, Everyone will be walking around with their Nintendo Switch, they all look the same, you want yours to stand out.

Many people have celebrated the launch of the Nintendo Switch and especially Zelda by covering their Switch in "skins" or stickers. Reports are coming out this might do more harm then good.

Dbrand a popular creator of vinyl skins has advised that the special coating on the Joy-Cons does not react well with adhesives. The adhesive causes the outer coating to peal. As you can see in the image below, it leaves them looking torn up.

Nintendo has also come out to advise the logo on the back is only screen printed on and stickers placed on it will cause it to come off the system.

There is no word yet if retailers who have offered and sold the skins are providing refunds.
