I love Oddworld and especially Abe, the quirky Mudokon thrust into the spotlight as the hero everyone needs.
I still have my copy of the original on PS1 and have introduced the kids to it on the mini. Yes they found the fart button....
If you are lucky enough to have the PS5 there is a good chance you picked it up when it released digitally as a PSPlus title but Soulstorm last week released as a physical option now and I wanted to bring some extra thoughts to the game and the special editions.

We've spoken about Oddworld Soulstorm at length on the podcast but here's a quick recap.
Once again you take the role of Abe to save your friends from becoming snack foods.... on the PS5 Soulstorm is impressive visually with a rotating camera view, crisp character models that we all know and seamless performance.
There is one thing that has not changed with Oddworld games. It is still a difficult task to progress. Or maybe that is me... I do suck at platformers, always have.

Enter the below.
With Oddworld: Soulstorm getting it's physical release the special editions are here. Now full disclosure, I have not got one of these and unfortunately at this stage I won't be any time soon. If PAX Aus goes ahead that might be the time....
There are 2 editions up for grabs, and both are still available. The Day One Edition from a few places I have looked at and the Collectors Oddition seems to be an EB Games exclusive.

The Day One Oddition comes with a pretty cool steel cover if that's what you like.

The Collector's Oddition, this is the one I am in love with. Comes with all the goodies below.

A Unique Collector’s Box
Oddworld: Soulstorm’s standard edition for PlayStation® 4 or PlayStation® 5
A collectible metal case
An exclusive 22 cm figurine of Abe, Mudokon hero
A premium 160-page artbook by Pix’n Love Publishing
An exclusive Mining Company keychain
Three art prints
Ancient Mudokon Tribal stickers
Abe’s hand tattoo

I would look amazing behind me on the shelf, maybe soon....
