On our list of PAX East Indie devs today is Eremite Games and their latest title Against The Storm. Eremite Games is a team of 5 friends with years of experience in AAA, indie and mobile games development. They have a passion for memorable, genre-defining strategy and RPG games. 

That brings us to the title we are talking about.

Against The Storm


‘Against the Storm’ is a roguelite city builder set in a fantasy world where it never stops raining. You are the Queen’s viceroy — a pioneer sent into the wilds to establish and manage new settlements inhabited by beavers, lizards, and humans.

Your goal is to survive long enough and gather the valuable resources necessary to rebuild and upgrade the Smouldering City. It’s the only safe haven against the Blightstorm — a vile cycle of destruction ravaging everything in its path. Do you have what it takes to weather the storm? 

You had me at city builder but not sure about the Roguelite element though but from the trailer above it looks right up my alley. 

No confirmed release date yet but due 2021 with a 12 month exclusive on Epic Games store where there is currently a demo available via the link below.
