Everything Announced a PlayStations State of Play - Feb 2026
PlayStation have come out with a bit of a banger for their State of Play to kick off 2026. Friday the 13th saw Australians get a bit of an insight into what is on the horizon for the PlayStation brand with some new drops, some coming sooner than expected along with updates to some exciting titles releasing in the coming weeks and months!

Kena: Scars of Kosmora
It has been 5 years since Bridge of Sprits and I cannot believe how much I enjoyed the original. This time out Keena looks more mature and accomplished as a spirit guide while traversing a more open world. Coming this year!
GHOST of Yotei: Legends
The Legends DLC for Yotei was always a question of when not if, thankfully we don't have too long to wait. Now I just need to find some friends to play with me... Coming March 10th
Death Stranding 2 Coming to PC
Unlocked frame rates and peak resolutions, DS2 looked amazing on the base PS5, when I let it loose on PC it is going to be amazing! Still one of the best series I have ever played. Releasing on PC March 19th.

Bad Robot games wanted to give us something different so they made a 4 player co-op extraction shooter... more info needed on this one I think.
Pragmata
Keen for this one with a bit more of the look of the world setting. Demo has been played a few times. Gives us a rundown of the gameplay and style Capcom are looking for. An interesting change of style but if it pays off over the course of the campaign, we could be looking at a very promising experience. Coming April 24th.
Resident Evil: Requiem
Probably the most anticipated title to start 2026. Once again looks terrifying in all the right ways. More gameplay shown off ready for its release end of the month.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remaster
Improved visuals and controls from the original along with a demo for the unreleased sequel.
Legacy of Kain: Ascendance
A 2D retro style platformer with some of the original voice cast returning.
Brigandine Abyss
Fantasy war strategy RPG, coming this year!
Dead or Alive 6 getting a Remaster and a new game in the works too.
Control Resonant
Remedy have given us a look at some more gameplay for their upcoming sequel to Control and it looks very different to what we are used to. Still on track for release this year.
Crimson Moon
Play as Nephilim, a violent half human /half angel hybrid defending humanity from hell. Roguelike elements, soulslike gameplay with co-op, this one is coming later this year!
Beast of Reincarnation
We finally get a release date for this one, coming August 4th. JRPG set in post-apocalyptic Japan fans of the style will be excited for the next title from GAME FREAK.
Neva: Prologue DLC
Set years before the main game find out the story behind how Alba and Neva first met.
Yakoh Shinobi Ops
Top down 4 player co-op stealth experience for the shinobi fans.
Project Windless
Krafton bring us an action RPG based on the Korean fantasy novel series The Bird That Drinks Tears. Plus you're fighting everything as a giant chicken... love it!
Star Wars: Galactic Racer
Gameplay reveal for the new pod racing epic, hits all the nostalgia while showing enough freshness to grab our attention. Due to come out later this year!
007 First Light
May 27th is just around the corner for release, IO Interactive gives us a more of a look at the story with James Bond entering the 00 program as a young agent.

John Wick
This looks like it could be amazing! Please let it be amazing! Created in collaboration between Saber, Lionsgate, and franchise director Chad Stahelski, and featuring an original script set in the John Wick timeline.
Marathon
I've been pretty critical of Marathon and will continue to be until I get my hands on it. I know the pedigree of Bungee, but this PVP team focus gameplay and visual aesthetic just doesn't do it for me. Time will tell with it still on track to release next month.
Saros
Looks a little like Returnal 2.0 but enhanced in every way. I called this early as my most anticipated for this year and if it resonates with me the same way Returnal did I won't put it down. Still on track for April release.
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls
Coming August 6th and showcasing some more characters.
God of War Trilogy Remake
The original GOW trilogy is getting the remake treatment. No information other than it is happening at this stage with the original voice actor TC Carson also confirming himself returning.
I may have got a little excited prematurely....
God of War Sons of Sparta
Touted as a passion project this 2d Side Scroller is out now and follow Kratos and his brother Deimos during their training as Spartans.
